Why my nexus 5 is continuously restarting ?

I am using Nexus 5 about a year. There was no problems in it. Last thursday somehow it got wet and after then i switched it off.Few minutes later i turned it on something like LG flash mode came
as the screen was blinking i couldn't read the whole thing. Then i took that in a serving centre there they somehow switched it on...
& after that.. it is continuously restarting by its own...
and not taking charge properly... what is the problem ?

The power button might be malfunctioning, plus there could be water damage. Good luck.

You could call around to repair shops and see if anyone can replace the power button. Good luck! It should be much cheaper than sending it to LG.
ETA: maybe you should send it to LG, I forgot about the water damage. You could try giving the phone a bath in pure alcohol too. Do a Google search for Rukbat and "Oh no my phone got wet" on Android Central.
