Internet and gallery defaults

[AC Question]

Dear lord someone help!

Every time I want to open a webpage or insert a photo into a text message or email it pops up that I have to choose which program to open it with...I choose it...click ALWAYS...then it comes up with a message about changing defaults.

So if I click ALWAYS...why does it make me do it EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5.

Welcome to Android Central! When you select an app as a default, the message that comes up afterwards is most likely just an informational popup telling you how to clear that default if you need to. But sometimes, people think that they're actually supposed to follow that instruction right away, which means they clear the default that they just selected. So the next time they want to perform that action, they have to pick the default again. Could this be what's going on? If so, then remember to just ignore that informational message, and don't immediately clear the default.
