My texts are disappearing

Texts disappear

I recieved a text in 4 parts. An hour later, 3/4 of the text disappeared. Explain please. ..very strange

Welcome to the forums. What device do you have and what texting app are you using? Have you already tried clearing the cache for the texting app and then restart?

There are apps.which offer a self deleting option but if the text was one single large message, I find it unlikely.
Unless someone is messing with you.
