Lcd and battery

Hi I am wondering if you could help me i got a new lcd screen today and I when go test the screen and attached it to test it and plug my charge in and nothink come up so could mean the battery is dead Could someone help me please

Either that, or the screen is faulty.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you try to power it on, does it vibrate? Most phones will vibrate during the boot process, so if you don't feel it, then it could be a problem with the battery, the Power button, or the motherboard.
