With the Pixel XL, some push notifications issues.

No notification when I miss a call. With other androids, miss a call and a small number one appears on the phone handset icon. Not on the this phone. When someone sends a text message, no notifications. When someone leaves a message, no notifications. I can find no way to turn on notifications.Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any work arounds or apps to solve this? Strange oversight unless I'm missing something.

Hi, are you referring to the badge count or actual notifications in the notification panel at the top of the phone? Pixel phones don't have badge counts (number beside the app) but they do have notifications in the pull down panel on the phone, as well as the lock screen.

If you're desperate for badge counts, you could download Nova and run a different launcher on the phone.
