why dose is my phone getting the same text over and over

So for about 2 weeks my phone has been getting the same photo message over and over non stop 24/7 I got about 1,867 messages (no Joke) from her and the Same pic... at first I thought she was doing it purposely but then I told her to stop she said she only send it once I didn't believe her so I keepthink her phone for the weekend and it was off... I still keep getting the Damm message I had a total melt down I couldn't take it ... so I turned it off and on didn't work master rested 3 times!! Didn't work blocked her number on the metro block app (BTW I have METRO PCS and she has cricket) didn't work!... I swear it driving me crazy!!! Please help me PLEASE I BEGG YOU!!!

I'm having the same problem but with no pic attached. just the same text hundreds of times. Plus, my phone restarts about every minute. Did you ever get an answer?

Perhaps a SIM issue? Have you called your carrier?
