And is it really 2.13 and not 2.14? What version of the one xl do you have? AT&T or Rogers?

Well If I look at the file I pushed it says soffbin3 - dated 2/20/2013

I tried to apply cm-10.2.0-evita (cyanogenmod)

And the version is 2.14. I mis-typed.

Hopefully I can recover from this.

Yes, do you have teamviewer. It would be the easiest way to fix your problem.

Official. Next update will have both recoveries, including the one that supports android 4.4.

S-on means you have to flash the boot image manually or you will get hangs and bootloops. Try and obtain s-off. It makes things so much easier. Also when flashing ROMs. I would stay away from any that specify to use a certain modified version of twrp or cwm. Its your choice but. The best ROMs work with official twrp or official cwm. If your leaning towards kit kat. Just make sure your recovery is the latest version. Good luck

S off should be easier in the next toolkit. I'm running an un official recovery and it works great.

when I unlock the screen and I have the clock, its telling me that it cannot connect to yahoo weather, yet I can open the app and obtain weather fine. Oh well.

Is there a better/recommended ROM for the HTC One X (evita) ?

I highly recommend cleanrom 7 r2 and that you obtain s off.

I saw you had soffbin3 zipped up so that might have been the problem. Don't unzip onex.zip, just soffbin3.zip and take out the file inside.

Well, I did something wrong. Now the phone just reboots all the time. I just get the HTC logo "HTC quietly brilliant" and it restarts, over and over again....ugh....

I can get into TWRP but no backup, I guess it's bricked unless there is a way to recover it.

I ended up in the same boat, cannot recover and it keeps rebooting to the recovery screen with no data. Wizzrah, can you help me with this as well. I download soffbin too but it shows S-ON for me as well. Here's what I see.
