How can I put a widgets tab on an HTC phone?

No widgets tab on HTC phone

I've just bought an HTC Desire 510. My previous Samsung android phone had a widgets tab within the apps setting but this one doesn't have that. Is there a way of installing it?

You can access the widget locker by long-pressing a blank area of home screen....or perhaps you know that?

Different manufacturers have different ways of doing the phone layout. You can install a third party launcher like Nova Launcher and I believe the default setup adds the widget page in the app menu.
