Titanium Backup - What's safe to restore?

I know I've seen a post or two about this somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can find it...

I'm trying out new ROMs and I originally did a "Backup of all user apps + system data".

What is not safe to restore when going to a new ROM?

Everything backed up threw Titanium is safe.

I don't believe they would let you backup things that weren't safe.

It depends on from what version of rom your going between.

Some of your data wont be restored going from a 2.1 to a 2.2 rom.
Also i have found with Cyanogen, that when i restore data, i get more frequent crashes...
