I have an iPhone friend that might convert to the Evo, but he needs to be able to send and receive Japanese texts. Is this even possible on Sprint? thanks.
So for him, he would send a text-- "+81xxxxxxxxxx" (I think).
Also, wouldn't e-mail be better in this case? Just a suggestion. Just looking at price.
Lastly, tell him to call sprint and see how they deal with international calling and payments and wahtnot.
As far as I know, Sprint does not support unicode. Your text message will look like an alien language. This is why I wish I had GSM sometimes. NONE of my Asian friends use Sprint b/c of this. Most of them use Tmobile or At&t.
