Sense Mail Issue... Does anyone else have this...

When i see the notification i click it...

When i get to the mail screen it takes 5-10 seconds to show the new messages...

I tap the message and then it takes 5-10 seconds for the message text to show up...

does anyone else have this issue??? can it be fixed???

You setup with IMAP?
If so then it just loads the header and then has to reconnect to download the rest of the message which could be causing your lag.

Could be a loading issue with POP also if you have that. If u have IMAP swap to POP, or if you have POP swap to IMAP and see if the problem continues, then you can narrow it down more.

It could also be data provisioning, bad service, a plethora of things, but need to know are you 1x? 3g? 4g? wifi? 1 bar? 5 bars? Roaming?

Any other APPS doing this? or is it just SENSE's email widget.. ( does it happen in the email program itself?)

i know there is a known bug in the froyo version of the regular email app on the nexus, not the gmail app but the generic email app. if HTC provides their own email app then this isnt related. but if you ARE using the email app then the problem is with exchange setup with push enabled, the email app uses a very high CPU usage non-stop all the time. so the end result is that its very delayed when opening a message, very laggy, choppy, etc.

when you check the cpu usage you see email is using up all of the CPU.

if you happen to have that exact setup then its very possible you have the bug as well.

I use the GMAIL app to do the notification then pull it from there as it seems faster.
The Sense email seems slower as it loads just the header and takes a few seconds to populate the rest. I keep Sense email on my desktop though as I like it better for other things
