profile managers

i tried now 4 or 5 profile managers trying turn on/off features of the One based on schedule or location. None of them works, the profile never changes. As an example, if I leave the house for work at 7am, I want the phone to turn off wifi and turn on blue tooth. I tried to this with a scheduler for 7am as well as location profile when leaving the home. I suspect that the profiles don't change because the phone is asleep, is that possible? If i need to wake up the phone so that the scheduler kicks-in, then i might as well just set the settings manually. Anybody has any thoughts? Thanks!
