Wifi calling connected but can't make calls - can only receive calls

I can't find any posts with my issue... I've had my HTC one m8 the day it became available and have had no issues, until yesterday. I can connect to wifi. But in the notification bar it shows both the "calls will be made over wifi" icon, and the "wifi networks available" icon. I can receive texts and calls and use the Internet perfectly. But I cannot call out. What is the issue?

Probably related to your Wi-Fi network / router. Have you tried restarting cable modem / router and phone (in this order) and see if that fixes it?

Yes I have.. And all other phones in the house work fine over the wifi network. When I logged into wifi at my job I still had the same issue.

Hmmm, try to delete all saved (known) network connections / passwords in your phone. SETTINGS -> WI-FI ... from there on you're on your own since I am using Samsung and don't know if the HTC settings are the same.

TURN OFF VOLTE! It is found under mobile networks.
