Can't swipe down from top of the screen suddenly???

So for some unknown reason my One X will stop allowing me to swipe from the top of the screen at random times for no particular reason. Has anyone else seen this? I've been using 1.83 for a couple weeks now and hadn't noticed an issue. The only way I've found to fix it is to restart....

Any ideas?

At that time it doesn't work you wouldn't happen to be using the internet would you? Only time it happens for me is when using the browser, and I'm pretty sure that applies to all one x.

I bet your finger fell into a Flash element on the browser.
Flash often does nothing in response to a down swipe.

If that is not the situation you are talking about please be more specific.

No it happens from the home screen with no browsing involved...

Are you using any screen protector or case? If so what ones?

Also try resetting the device.

If that fails...

Re calibrate the screen. (Its in the settings.)
