I know how it works. It's been working fine for months, only recently is it unavailable and greyed out.

The assistant voice typing is associated with Gboard. So any text input field shows the keyboard and when I click the gear icon, the assistant voice typing is greyed out and says is not available right now. Regular voice typing still works. I've tried all the obvious things, restarting, clearing...

For a few days now the assistant voice typing has been greyed out. I've done all the normal things. Clear cache, data, etc. Restarted. Made sure the languages matched, etc. In case you aren't familiar, when I press the microphone icon, as opposed to it flashing all the fun google colors, it...

I did that before posting originally.

Restarting works temporarily, but then it randomly stops working again after a while. Yes I've cleared storage and cache and forced stop inside keyboard. Nothing fixes it.

I'm using the correct one. It's the one just above the p and when you press it it lights up the Google colors blue red yellow green.

And then??? I don't see some reset.

How do I reset it?

The title says it all. I press the microphone icon, it lights up, there is the audible prompt, I start speaking and nothing happens. It finally times out as of I haven't said anything. Just started about 5 days ago. Pixel 6 Pro with latest updates. Doesn't work in any app.
