having issue with outlook app on Verizon Moto X

My outlook app won't refresh or notify me when I receive new mail. The only time it's up to date is when I restart the phone. When I try to refresh it says "failed connection". Anyone else have this issue? Thanks.

I don't use the app, but it could be a bug related to the app. I would recommend using the stock mail app. I have an outlook email address and it works perfectly with the stock mail app.
