failed to delete folder

My wife downloaded some music to her phone and then moved it to the SD card. The music and a copy of the folder moved but there is still a folder in the downloads folder on the device. When She tried to delete it, it said "Failed to Delete." Tried it on the computer and it said She doesn't have permission. Anyone know how to get rid of this empty folder? Thanks.

You need root permissions, so the phone has to be rooted. Then delete it with a rooted file manager or through a terminal using su rm <full folder path and name> -r -f

So she needs root permission to delete a folder that She downloaded music to from her Device Storage? Not that I'm doubting what you're saying but I delete band folders all the time after I downloaded them and copied them to my SD card. Why would this one be different?
