Can samsung gear s be used with samsung s5 on different networks

I have a samsung s gear from o2, with a samsung galaxy s5 on ee, contracts 2 different numbers i have not put the o2 sim card in the samsung gear yet and it is working with the data and mins from my ee phone data, so basically i want to know if i will still be able to do this if i want to have my other sim in the gear.#
