using the photon overseas

Question about using it internationaly. I'm having trouble with the sim card swap I did from Italy. I called sprint before hand and they said it shouldn't be a problem. Any ideas??

What problem are you having? Are you in Italy now? The phone will only work on GSM bands outside of the U.S.

Have you done a SIM card swap before? There could be a setup issue with the carrier you're trying to use. You might need to call and activate the SIM. You also might need to register your device with the carrier. But it's hard to say given the info you provided...
