Ok so I've renamed my backups and moved them to a different folder using ES file explorer, but when I try to restore it won't let me. I click on my back up and it opens an empty folder instead of giving me the option to swipe to restore. Is there a way to get it to work again without me having to download the rom and start over again?

You need to put the files back in the TWRP folder in the same structure. There is no method for recovery to look elsewhere for them. You can mount USB storage from Recovery and copy them to where they need to be, and try again.

If you are using TWRP, backups are in the \sdcard\TWRP folder with a random folder name. Copy the whole TWRP folder to anywhere else, and you will have all your backups. You can drill deeper into the folder to find individual backups. You can typically send to Dropbox with most file explorers now, or connect USB and copy manually.

Oh wow. That was simple, guess I didn't look at what was right in front of me. Thanks again!
