I just ordered 2 but when I did a quantity of 2 it showed a price of $29.99 before my 25% corporate discount. I redid the order but this time I only ordered 1 and it came to $19.99 before tax but no 25% discount showed for some reason. I did 2 separate transactions to get each for $19.99. Pain in the butt but worth the trouble without having to talk to a rep.

Can anyone provide an update/incite into the 3.7v vs. 3.8v issue? I feel like I keep reading conflicting info as to if using 3.7v or 3.8v in the phone is safe.

There ia no definitive answer, but it certainly seems safe to me and most others here, especially the 3.7V version.

Thanks, Robrecht

Yeah, well the 3.7v version matches the stock TB battery exactly, with exception of it being higher capacity.

My concern is if I go home today and see a 3.8v version.

The .1 difference is really inconsequential and won't cause any problem. Keep in mind a fully charged battery is about 4.2volts and will normally drops toward the rated 3.7 upon discharging.

So after much reading, here is my thinking (from a lamen):

It doesn't seem to mean much that one says 3.7v and one says 3.8v. The bottom line is these seem to range from the mid 3v to 4.2v. It seems as if the phone would be okay as long as you don't go well above 4.2v.

As I monitor my stock Thunderbolt battery in preparation for receiving this Rezound battery, I notice that I fluctuate to about 4.203V and dip lower as it uses battery.

It sounds like the voltage rating is it's "dead" voltage. I could see a battery calibration being required for an accurate battery meter at the end, but that's about it. As long as the Rez battery isn't like 12v and the TB battery is 6v, all should be good.

Are you sure? I thought the V rating on the battery was it's average or "floating" voltage. Like, they are saying at about what level the battery will typically sit. So yeah, 3.7v and 3.8v shouldn't be a big deal... because its rarely ever exactly that anyway. With my standard TB battery I've been getting what looks like an avg of about 3.9+ to 4.0v.

Voltage is the difference in potential between two points not a specific point in time so the voltage change should be normal. 0.1V or 100mV difference is not that big of a deal.

Notice during normal dissapation the voyage sits around 3.6-3.85V and increased to 4.25V when TB is in use. This should make sense because the device should draw more power when it is in use versus when it's on standby

So I got my battery and its a 3.7v, so a little less stressed. Had about 40ish% charge and got it down to like 20s. Now charging the battery but its taking awhile. Should I let it fully charge to 100% now or is it okay to take it off the charger the first time I'm charging it and go out? Is it important to do a full charge for this first time? Or is the idea of conditioning it, depleting it down low (to about 0%) and then fully charging? Can I do that tomorrow?

Just found a Rezound battery, first store was out. Elston/Diversey has like 8 for anyone in the Chi. The employee had no idea and assumed it the Rez battery was bigger and needed modification. Of course that's not true. Ran down the charge, recharging now, hopefully a god report coming tomorrow.

Definitely getting better battery life with this 1620mAh battery; about 6-8 hours more (than the standard Thunderbolt 1400 mAh)! Hit just a little over 35 hours this morning with approx. 20 percent left before swapping out for a fresh battery. :)

Definitely enjoying the extra juice. I didn't want to go with the larger extended battery.
