Thank you soooo much, much for resolving the problem. The popping up error message appearing every second was so frustrating. Clearing contacts data helped. Wishing you all the best and thanks once again.

Thx to Cindy Delgallo. She posted a fix on the Galaxy S3.
Here is what worked for my Galaxy S4:
1> Clk on lower left button, select "SETTINGS".
2> Clk on upper right "MORE".
3> Clk on "App Mgr".
4> Clk on lower left button for menu.
5> Clk on "RESET APP PREFERENCES"
My error message "Android.Process.Acore" dissapeared !!!
What a struggle this pain has been...It was nearly time for the HAMMER.
Thx again, Cindy, for steering me towards the fix.
Hope this will be of some help... good Luck.

After seeing a number of posts saying to clear the android contacts and contacts storage app's data and cache to no avail, I determined that by disabling the contacts storage app (under apps>all), I no longer got the error message. The next step was to find the conflicting app, I ultimately ruled out 3rd party apps since most don't boot on startup unless you configure them to and if they are active you can use an toolkit app to kill the process. I determined it was the latest update to Google Plus (nice, a Google app conflicting with it's own Google app). I then restored the Google app to it's factory issue (removed updates) and had no problem. However, you'll still get updates in Google Play if the app is active. If you don't used Google Plus, you are better off to disable it in the Applications menu or if you don't have that option on your phone "freeze" it using an app like Titanium backup. A few months back I also had an issue with the Facebook app which I later removed and just created a shortcut to the Facebook url in the Chrome browser and saved to my phone.

I get error messages, I can't nevigate to settings/file manager also factory resetting didn't help. I don't get one error message I get two following up each other, which doesn't allow me any time to navigate
to settings.
