Camera/Gallery Question

I am getting ready to go on vacation to Scotland again. Last year I still had my Note 20 Ultra with a SD card and defaulted all my photos to SD card. It made it easy to save space on my phone and pop out and download to my laptop when I got home.

This year with the S23U I am trying to find out if there is a way to have all photos default to a designated Gallery Album I could set up for vacation photos.

Is this even possible?

I don't know if you're willing to do this, but what I do is I have a usb type c thumb drive that I plug into my phone and transfer over photos when I'm back at the hotel. It works really well for me.
