Android Central Question

When you turn wifi on error says « cannot search for for all wifi networks. Check SIM card or mobile network » my wifi still shows up in the list and I can connect as usual but it doesn’t provide any internet.

Please clarify your description of the problem. There's a contradiction that makes no sense. WiFi and cellular are two very different types of wireless signals. A SIM card and mobile data both relate only to cellular connectivity, and WiFi has no ties in any way to either one. Or in other words, you can't actually be seeing a message stating your WiFi is having problems because of your SIM card, the two are independent from each other.

So are you having problems getting online access using WiFi or mobile data? Or both? The former involves your local network connectivity, often directly related to your router, or possibly your modem or broadband connection. The latter involves your account with your cellular carrier service, so that might be possibly be a SIM card issue. Who is your carrier? A lot of carriers have been turning off 3G support in their cellular networks this year. How old is your SIM card? Might be time to have your carrier send you a new one.
