Contacts Labels

[Android Central Question]

In my contacts I have three Labels for contacts thus:

System Group (contains ALL GMAIL contacts)
Phonebook (people I have tagged to be included in my home phone book)
Home Phone Book (other I have tagged for home phone use)

When select the phone icon, to make a call, and press contacts it lists the System Group.
How do I make it list the Phonebook people only?

You can't select one of the 3 labels as default?

Welcome to Android Central! The Contacts tab of the Phone app will typically show all of your contacts -- there's no modifying that. Think of the Contacts tab as a barebones version of the full Contacts app -- you won't have a lot of features there.

If your Phonebook doesn't have a ton of contacts, then I would mark all of them as Favorites (by toggling the Star icon at the upper right of each contact) -- that way, they'll all appear in the Favorites tab of the Phone app.
