GNex charging while not on charger. PLEASE HELP

While my phone is off the charger its charging. I need to know what I need to do how to fix this problem immediately.

I had the same problem: phone says its charging when it really isn't. The screen will turn on and off too. It has something to do with the usb port going bad on it. I had to send it in to Samsung and they repaired it for free as it was still under warranty. I was without the phone for a week while they were working on it (had to use my Aria while waiting for it to be fixed).
