Google Currents used 36% of my battery over 11 hours!

I have no reason why it did this, I opened it just now and the screen was just black. I had to force shut the app. Does anybody know why it would stay awake for 7 hours and 33 minutes when I wasn't even on?

I don't use Google Currents but it sounds like the app maybe froze up and was stuck where it couldn't close down. I would try reinstalling the app and keep a close eye on it.
