How bad is the camera.

If the camera is important to you, this is not the phone for you. Pictures are too soft, even in good lighting. And unless you are shooting something perfectly still, you'll end up with blur. I really like this phone, but the camera is a huge sticking point. If you want a good camera, go with the GS3 or iPhone... If you want good software and strong radios and can live with a mediocre camera, you'll do fine with the M.

The shutter speed could be a little faster too

I definitely agree. The shutter speed is really slow.

I have the US Cellular version (Motorola Electrify M) so not sure how different the cameras are, but I'll go out on a limb here and say the camera is HORRIBLE. I get all kinds of weird color readings. It makes everything have a blue or red cast. Awful. Unusable.
