How many of you think the Honor 8 is a flagship spec phone?

Wireless charging pads are nice to have , but they charge quite slowly. it's really good to use while you sleep and leave it charging

They are great to set and forget about it, but for a quick charge in the middle of the day, the cable is better

I had a pink iPhone. Just put a case on it and it was fine
That's what I'm doing to the iPhone 6s plus that my mom is giving me. I ordered a full one piece skin for it from colorware the covers the entire back and entire frame up. Only thing you can still see the original color on are the buttons which is no big deal. I ordered a candy color orange skin for it. It's going to be extra bright lol. Cool looking. I'll only be using it for movies only until I get my iPad then I'll probably sell it or put it up for a back up phone once I buy my iPad. The iPhone I'm getting is a bit too small to watch movies on although it's still doable. I'll definitely still use it for YouTube videos and web browsing. The plus is strictly going to be used to watch a movie on every once in a while. I won't even activate a line for it as it will only be used on occasion or if I see that I need a larger screen.

It should be preferable for Dconn1975, he prefers smaller screens
Yeah my ideal size phone would be exactly 5 inches which the iPhone is 4.7 so it is very close to being perfect for me. I love using a compact one handed device that's easy to use and put in my back pocket. Easier to handle as and obscure to carry around with me on a daily basis. I don't think I would have lasted two weeks had I gotten the Note 8 lol. I'm so glad I chose the iPhone now. For a little while there I was highly considering the Note 8 bc I wanted the S pen feature but that phone is gigantic!!!! No way I could have or would have used that beast on a day in and day out basis long term.

Do you think you are really going to make it 12 months on the iPhone?
Oh yeah I'll make it very easily. I used to do it every year for a long time. Not until Android did I start going through phones every other month bc there were so many different ones to choose from. The only way I'd change from the iPhone 8 is if I for some reason got lucky and was able to get my hands on the iPhone 10 that's back ordered until mid December. I'll use the 8 12 months then upgrade to the 10 then. With apple I don't buy lots of phones as there is no reason to as they are all the same models. I'll be perfectly happy with the 8 especially bc it's way ahead of it's time and some apps aren't yet even compatible with it so it's future proofed. Technically I could use it 24 months but I won't. I'll upgrade to the newest after 12 months which I'll qualify for with Xfinity.

If you want to add a little style to that, some lamps has wireless charging built in them. Great thing to have on your night stand or desk
Oh that's a cool feature. Are there some of those on Amazon. Right now I'm searching for a charging dock for an iPhone but most of the ones I have found are made to put the Apple watch on too which I don't have but I might now end up getting. I'm really not a fan of square watches which none of you know this but I used to be a obsessed high end automatic movement dive watch collector. So I'm very particular about my watches and what I will wear. Back in the day at one time I had about $75k worth of high end automatic swiss made dive watches!!! I'm almost embarrassed to share that. It had totally taken control of me. I was buying 4k to 6k watches quite often then I'd sell after a while and buy another. In the high end watch world it's highly important to have the original box and all the original paperwork that came with the watch as it helped to retain it's value. That's actually the main reason why today I won't buy a used phone unless it has the original box with all the original contents that cane with it. My watch collecting days carried over to the mobile phone world so I keep all my boxes to all my phones and I also never touch the original inside contents of the phone box. I just use spare cords and spare charging bricks I have. I do that bc when I get ready to sell the phone I can call it like new in box which I keep my phones pristine and in brand new condition always.

Changing a phone every year is really cool. Exchange it for the newer model. Basically paying only half the phone and get a new one every hear

I am glad that you didn't get the note 8! You certainly wouldn't have lasted long
