How to Do System Update on Verizon Ellipsis 7

I have a Ellipsis 7 tablet that is no longer active on Verizon network. It will not update over WiFi only. Is there another way to update system software through google or some other way?

First - are you positive there's a newer update than the one you have?

Second - try inserting a Verizon SIM, even one that's not active. Some have had success with this method for getting updates on Verizon devices that are no longer on active Verizon plans.
