I am able to send and receive pictures on my phone but I am unable to send or receive text messages.

I have had this problem for a few weeks. I have restarted my phone. I've also restarted my phone. Nothing is working and I just find it curious that I can send and receive pictures but not actual text messages.
Any help with this would be amazing!

What phone and what carrier do you have? Is mobile data turned on? MMS requires mobile data and won't work with only WiFi. Each carrier has its own specific APN for MMS so we need to know the carrier in order to provide additional help.
