LG 3G headphone jack won't work anymore.

I dropped my phone in water for at least 3 seconds which also had a case. When i removed everything the battery wasn't wet. The only areas that were wet was my case and the phone itself. It's on now but the only thing that isn't working is the headphone jack. I used cotton swabs to clean it out but it doesn't want to connect with headphones.
