Please see as attached.

Not sure I understand what the issue is here... Did the image size ratio change? If so, the setting will depend on the device model and camera app you're using, but most of the time it's a 'quick' setting while you're taking a photo.

Two things . . . 1) Welcome to Android Central ! :) . . And I know next to nothing. 😐

But in case these may help you, I happened to have just sent these links to my wife, yesterday, so she could read-up on the camera settings &c. :geek: Which she probably won't.

I agree with SpookDroid -- you probably changed the ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. Open the Camera app, tap the Settings icon, and change it from 16:9 back to 4:3.

Hi.

Many thanks for the info.

From your responses I knew I must have accidentally touched an Icon.

I can see that you are all experts here, but I am not much good at this. So, I tried 'Hit and miss'. I got the ratio almost right with the first photo, but I cannot get it back.

If possible, a step by step tutorial would be helpful.

Thank you.

Which phone do you have? The stock Camera app can differ somewhat in terms of settings and user interface, depending on the manufacturer.

On Samsung phones, along the top of the screen of the Camera app (if holding the phone in portrait), look for an icon that probably says "9:16". Tap that, and then select "3:4" instead.
