Okay Guys,
Maybe I screwed up but I thought I understood this (talked to sprint and a microcenter salesmen). I have had a samsung S4 on a sprint network and just bought a new unlocked international version of LG G4 that appears good for GSM, WCDMA, and LTE neworks. However, when I swap my current sim into the LG G4 I get 5 bars but don't appear connected to the sprint network. I thought sprint used the CDMA and LTE networks but maybe I am totally wrong. I checked the phone status and it has my phone number and IMEI number off the sim card. However, when I do a scan for networks, I can see the AT&T networks and the T-mobile networks but no sprint. And I can't connect to any of them. I thought I should be able to just swap sims but now really confused. Sprint goes on and on how it uses 4G LTE? Doesn't that mean they are using LTE network. I guess I still don't get it. And I guess I don't really understand how to determine the exact specific network the phone runs on. Arghh so frustrated.
