Notification Sounds are NOT Repeating, But I have it set for every 2 minutes?

I have a galaxy s5, set the notification noise for text to repeat every 2 minutes, its not doing it though. When I get a text it just makes the noise once, thats it

Ideas why and how to change this?

Does it vibrate every two minutes? If so, I think it might only vibrate, not give off a sound every two minutes.

Some versions of the ROM react a bit differently.

On the Verizon version, it works just like you want, Birdy Chirps every two minutes. I turned off the Vibrate as a waste of battery.
