In my text message app, there are three little dots in the text box and when I try typing, the words do not wraparound. Instead, I can only type one character per line like this:

When I hit Send, the message transmits normally (ex: How are you?) but this problem makes it hard when typing to see if I'm typing everything accurately.
I've tried changing all relevant settings but nothing has worked. I do not want to do a factory reset on the whole phone because I want to keep the data that I have. Also, I can't find anything when I Google this problem so any help would be appreciated! I have a Samsung Z Fold 3 with the latest Android update.
