Optimus V Source Code Released

I put in a request with LG for the Optimus V source code and they just e-mailed me to let me know its available at LG Open Source

Select "Mobile Phones" and type LGVM670 as the model and it will pull it up.

So if I'm guessing correctly...with this Rom's and even Gingerbread Rom's as well as custom kernels can be built properly now without resorting using an Optimus S port/hack?

Its still a good idea to back up a stock version of your phone.

All this means is that the devs can now create ROMs and Kernals that are built specifically for our phone. We won't have to rely on the Optimus S stuff for much longer.

Oh okay. I'm gonna have to figure this crap out I'm rooted but I have yet to change anything.
