Ringtones from google music

I purchased a song from google music and I am unable to make it my ringtone. I go to my settings and click on the + to add a song from my song list, but it is not there. Help please!!

To be a ringtone, the song probably needs to exist on your phone's internal storage or SD card, unencrypted, and in an unhidden folder.
Rumor has it that to get all that done from Google Music, you need to download the MP3 file to your computer, then transfer it to the phone.
