Android Central Question

My Samsung Note 9 suddenly started flickering.

I tried:

Rebooting in Safe Mode

Updating all apps on the Playstore

Hard Reset

Wipe Cache

Disabling HW overlays

Disabling Developer Options

Turning the screen super bright

Using OLED saver app
======================

I tried the first four multiple times with no success.

The only things I haven't tried are factory reset and taking it to a service center. I'm avoiding both, but if they're the only solutions left, well I'll drop by the nearest mall this Sunday.

More info:

I haven't downloaded anything outside the playstore and I keep the number of apps as close to the bare minimum, erasing apps I don't use frequently. The apps are as generic/official/vanilla as they can get.

It is not rooted or tweaked in any way. I'm not into that type of customization.

About the phone:

Bought it November 10 2018 (so I guess maybe it's too old?)

128 GB. I bought this in the Philippines, so the chip is Exynos

When it started to happen:

About 12 hours ago, especially when charging. Charging seems to make the lines more visible or appear more frequent.

If it's hardware, I'm thinking it's related to battery heat since the lines aren't as annoying when it's not charging, but maybe you can help me.
