Set up questions, account for young child?

I need to set up an account for my daughter on our Nexus 7, how can I create an account for her and limit her access to Apps that shipped with the tablet?
I just want her to be able to go into gallery, BBC IPlayer and some other apps I have downloaded for her.
I dont want her getting into settings etc.
Can this be done?

On 4.2, you can set up different profiles. From what I've read on the net, you can make it so that each user has access to different apps. If you set up her own profile you can sign her in when you want and her profile will have only the stock apps (or whatever you want to down load for her) without it affecting your setup.

Great app called Kids Mode by Zoodle You use Parent's Dashboard (added by app) to adjust settings. Can prevent Web access, age appropriate, and do much more. The bonus is you don't need separate User profile on N7. My youngest is 4 and I have used this app over a year.
