The samsung lock screen keyboard is smooshed

My lock screen keyboard is smooshed...I can't see the one and the numbers and letters are on top of eachother. I have tried resetting...I need help please

See the link I shared just above. Safe Mode temporarily disables any 3rd party app you installed, in case one of those apps is causing the glitch. It's a troubleshooting step.

What Samsung and Andriod version?
The newer Samsung's you just press the power button until on the display. Power off pops up then on a display press power off until it says safe mode

I did this and it says tap again for safe mode. I tap and it asks for the password. It's a galaxy s10

You could try connecting a USB keyboard via an OTG adapter (which typically comes with the phone), and using that to enter your password, just so you can get to the system settings. We have more suggestions we could give if you can get to that menu.

I have it connected to my tablet via a 2 c adaptor will that work?

The phone died...we charged it and they keyboard was fixed.thank goodness! Thank you for all the help

I see you got it going by letting the phone die and charging but in safe mode was the keyboard the correct configuration?
