I switch between Samsung Keyboard, Microsoft SwiftKey and Google Gboard. It's not for any special reason. I just like to try all three.

For my main problem, the internet cutting out I will restore the phone when I get time and see what happens.

Use smart switch to do an encrypted backup on a computer. Then restore from that, you shouldn't have to do much setup afterwards. It's similar to doing an encrypted back up with iTunes.

No wifi issues here actually no issues at all and I came from a S22 ultra to the S23 plus best phone for me to date. Also had 14 pro which is a total disappointment IMHO. Keep the Sammy much better device all around.

Hi. Yes I know about holding down the space bar but I still find it difficult to place the cursor where I want it. To be fair it might be the screen protector making it difficult.

Have you tried forgetting your home wifi and then re-establish the connection like the first time you connected?

Yes I have and no difference

At the moment the WiFi is behaving itself. It's sporadic. I have turned the VPN on and it's still working fine for now.

It's a more complete backup that should contain all the app data as well. The cloud backups on android are really not that great in my experience. It's been a while since I did a cloud back up even on iPhone.

The computer back up is essentially a snapshot of the state of your phone. You have to make sure the backup is encrypted. When restored from that it restores you phone exactly how it was. At least that's the idea and how it should work.

Cloud backup is the essentials like messages, photos videos, contacts, app list.
