unfortunately settings has stopped on S3

Hi,
I have flashed [I9300][5.0.2] Temasek's UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod 12 on my Samsung S3.
Everything is working fine except the 'buttons' and 'display & lights' options under the settings menu.
Whenever i click on settings->buttons or settings->display & lights the error message 'unfortunately settings has stopped' appears.
Can anyone help me with this?

Which build are you using? I have V8.0 and have not had any issues. I did encounter the problem you are having on one of the previous builds though. never found a solution other than updating.

Thanks for the reply..My build version is 8.4. It works properly on one of my S3s but gives this issue on the other S3.

hmmm, will update mine to 8.4 and get back to you.

I skipped V8.4 and flashed V8.8. No Issues here. There was a mention in the changelog of a fix for the FC issue with the buttons menu in settings. Doesn't explain why one phone works fine and the other doesn't.

But I downgraded from temasek v8.4 to slimrom (kitkat).
As temasek CM12 had made my phone extremely slow and laggy to the point of unusability.
