Upgrading android 5.1 to 6.0 on android projector

Hi,
I have a Wowoto a5 android projector. A very good liitle machine but I want to be able to be able to make the 32gb sd card the internal storage rather than the rather small storage the projector has already. It seems that it is not possible to assign the sd card as this unless it has 6.0 or higher. How do I go about upgrading?

Either the device manufacturer needs to have updated the OS (would be available by checking for updates in settings) or someone would have had to develop a ROM for the device, which is unlikely due to the low popularity of the device.
