If I purchase a GSII Skyrocket to use on Straight Talk's BYOP plan, and update from Samsung to ICS (if its still got GB) or to JB in November, will the phone want have issues with the ST sim, even if its using AT&T's network? I thought I heard something about updates doing weird things with other sims, but maybe thats just if you have a T-Mobile phone with an AT&T sim...which I might want to do. I guess if you can't get 4g on ST, its fine to get T-Mobiles' S2 that uses different 4g stuff.
Still trying to decide on an unlocked Skyrocket or T-mobile's equivalent GS2 or a Gnex. I have a lot of experience with Sprint's Epic 4g Touch S2, really like the aesthetics of the GS2 and am used to Touchwiz...expandable memory is pretty important too, but I want JB when its available. This would be my first smartphone. Thanks for the info.
