I use google messenger. It has been saving pics to my gallery that I send using Google messenger. They have a picasa icon on the pics. How do I erase these duplicate pics from my gallery? I removed them in the messenger but they are now blank white tiles in my gallery.

settings>google account>click on your account, uncheck "google photos" and see if that works. this also removes picasa and google plus syncing i believe.

Got it figured out. Thanks. Needed to clear the gallery app data and cache, after making your changes that is.
