Cant recieve text but can send

At around 8 est tine I stopped receiving messages but my messages were still getting sent out. Its been over 4 hours and I have yet to receive anything. My 3g and calling still works but not the texts. Any help? I live in Rochester new York

I'm in Illinois and since last night I've had trouble with sending and receiving texts. This happens a few times a year with vm. Just get a google voice number and set up google voice on your phone to text with that for the time being.

It could be something with our phones specifically, but I don't think its worth reflashing (if your rooted) unless it persists for a few days

Same thing here in central Illinois. Random missed messages. We have 2 phones and both are acting up. I hope they get it fixed soon. I called CS and it was moved to escalations dept.

All i had to do was restart and it worked again. Weird.
