USB not working with PC!! Why?

USB not working with PC !!

i'm having an Xiomi Redmi 2 . My USB was working properly.One day morning I connected it to PC.It doesn't show anything neither in phone or PC.No charging.But the phones notification blinks up.But i can use the phone USB for charging from plug or even use with OTG cables.It doesn't get worked with PC.What to do .Please help me !!

Can you confirm that the usb port works? Have you tried pluging in other devices into it? Did you try pluging the phone into another port? Is this a laptop or a desktop?
