All apps when started get an error that reads "(app name) keeps stopping"

I have a Galaxy Tab A running Android 10. Just recently I get the above message when I try to run just about anything. Doing a factory reset may be the only answer, but I would sure like to know why I'm getting the message.

That's a widespread issue caused by the Android System Webview. The problem was fixed with the latest version, go to the Play Store and update this app.
