storage problem on sony

When i try to download any app from playstore that has space more than 30 mb it keeps telling not enough space while there is 100 mb free on phone storage and 1 gb free on internal storage ,, i have cleared cashe for all apps and sorted them by size but it doesn't differ !!!

Welcome to Android Central! Your Phone Storage is probably the App Storage location, and if it only has 100 MB free, it likely is at the threshold where you'll get these errors frequently. Remember that a 30 MB app listed on Google Play probably takes up significantly much more space once it is fully installed (much like when you install a Windows program--the installer file is usually much smaller than the final product). The Internal Storage doesn't figure into this, because it is likely acting like an "Internal SD," to which you can't install apps directly.
